I have an issue with syncing due to, I think, lack of configuration options. I will give an example to express my case:

  • I run the first-time sync for a folder on my computer. It uploads and completes the first sync.
  • I disable the auto-sync voluntarily (I want to avoid that accidentally cancelled file locally will delete the remote files! I think an option like "sync once a week" could be useful) or I cannot access internet for some weeks.
  • in the meantime, I work on the local folder.
  • after a while, I resumes my sync. And here comes the mess, because Ubuntu one apparently only MERGE files and I find again old files which I deleted. You cannot choose a direction (for example, locale files will win over remote files). Am I missing something or is this the only way it can goes with the current client?
