Now let's say I open the terminal... It has actually opened but it does not display the prompt.. I have to click once on the desktop and once again back on the terminal for it to display the prompt..

Similarly say I type man man and press enter.. it has actually executed the command but I have to click once on the desktop and back again for it to show the output... Please tell me if this a problem of Virtual Box or Ubuntu?

The host machine is a Windows 7 64 bit with 8 GB RAM and Intel i5 processor.
