I've created my ppa, uploaded my package and i'd now like a simple way for the users to add my 3rd party ppa to their repositories. I've seen some deb files around that add ppa, how are these created and is there a easy way to do it?

So you mean you alternately want to Provide downloaded Deb package to add your PPA to it eg like Google Chrome . – tijybba Aug 12 '12 at 10:31
Is asking people to run sudo add-apt-repository ppa:... really that much harder than downloading and installing a deb? – Oli Aug 12 '12 at 10:39
Yes, i already give the link, but it's not obvious (google code project, template for downloads page only allows adding downloads, not editing the page). Would be much better if in the download page there was a 'add unstable ppa for ubuntu' artifact. – i30817 Aug 12 '12 at 10:39
