I just bought my new netbook Acer Aspire One 722. It works fine on Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit version. Everything works good beyond microphone (external and internal). Internal works middling because it's very silent (despite the fact that in alsamixer is set to maximum) and external doesn't work at all. When I connect external mic simply nothing happens. In sound preferences (in tab "intput") microphone is still set to "built-in microphone" despite connecting an external.
