There seems to be a problem with my desktop; the way it paints the menus, etc, on my screen. Here is how my menu looks:

The windows and menus, when it gets painted, it is not drawn properly. The are occasional dabs here and there. I seemed to notice this after the last update took place. Is this a known issue? How to fix it?
