I have recently installed UBUNTU 12.04 32 bit ...

I have installed additional drivers in which I have chosen [Recommended] ..

I updated my nvidia drivers by xswat PPA to the latest 302.17

I have integrated nvidia geforce 7025 / nForce 630a...

My problem is...Whenever I login into UNITY-2D .. I always get a grey screen for 2 seconds..after which it disappears ...

Can someone tell me the fix... ??

nvm, in ubuntu there is a folder of log files, I recommend checking out a few of these. try typing nano /var/log/boot – Joshua Siret Aug 5 '12 at 14:29
you might find that something is throwing an error during boot this could help you identify the problem. – Joshua Siret Aug 5 '12 at 14:30
Actually I am total noob in Linux so I wont be able to figure out the problem the way you mentioned to solve it... Please if possible tell me what should I do :) – sud_the_devil Aug 6 '12 at 11:38
