Posting the error:

Running docky --debug

After installing dockmanager

Now this is what happens:

[Helper] GnoMenu.py has exited (Code 0).

I tried to click the icon at the dock:

gconf backend 380

DockManagerSink(): System.NotSupportedException: Cannot send null variant

gconf backend 380

DockManagerSink(): System.NotSupportedException: Cannot send null variant

How can I fix this? Thanks for your prompt answer!

search for dock manager in synaptic and make sure you have it installed. –  RolandiXor Dec 12 '10 at 2:44

This question has not information added in it for a very long time and probably describes a bug in old package versions. I have flagged it to a moderator so it can be closed. If you think that this is still a valid question and that you are still suffering for this issue you can always flag it so that it can be re-opened. –  Bruno Pereira Feb 3 '12 at 0:49
