I have failed to install ubuntu in my mac . I followed the instructions from this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djc4q6PRyBc&feature=related .

Although i don't have window in my comp i followed the procedure . But unfortunatley when i restart my comp i do not get Ubuntu penguin , i get various things like "partition" and reFIT options . and when i click in one of them it says that something is missing . Can anyone help me how to go about it . Thanks

Not really enough information to go by there. Have you installed ubuntu? Or did you only get like 4 minutes though the guide? – Joshua Siret Jul 30 '12 at 19:36
@Joshua Siret : sir I have already installed Obuntu. – Theorem Jul 30 '12 at 20:15
but when i restart it i don't see the option that i am supposed to get . i get some strange things – Theorem Jul 30 '12 at 20:15
Hmmm, you can see the apple logo and log into apple but not the linux one. I would try installing it again in the mean time. Perhaps someone else with reFIT/EFI knowledge can help you! I'm clueless. – Joshua Siret Jul 30 '12 at 20:19
@JoshuaSiret : Ya , exactly . does having windows make a difference or not ? – Theorem Jul 30 '12 at 20:22
