My screen looks weirds and I don't know what the problem is. When I open my terminal, it is all white and I can not see what I typed.

Here is the screenshot. Look at the icons and the menubar.

Hi Bob, can you give some more info such as what version of Ubuntu are using, as much hardware related info you can such as graphics card etc including the form factor of the computer, is this a fresh install if not has it displayed correctly in the past. It's always best to give as much info as you can this will ensure you get some good answers. – CoalaWeb Jul 30 '12 at 18:06
