Newbie here, just learning everything. Thank you in advance for any help.

I'm wondering why Ubuntu doesn't seem to be fully installed. This is my first time trying to set anything up like this and I'm just learning the syntax. I can login at the command window and move around in there, but I don't know how to get to the pretty desktop lol.
