Thunderbird launcher shows number of unread messages from all folders (including the number of unread spam). So, in TB's preferences I selected to show only for messages in my inbox folder in the "messaging menu". Now, the launcher is showing the number of unread messages only from the inbox of one of the two accounts I have. The launcher still dances when I get a new message in the other account but it does not display the # unread messages.
