I have been having problems with browser and general areas that my right click on the mouse will generate a slim menu with a few icons but most of the selections will not show up with words even if they are selectable you have to hope that you pick the right things. The address and search bars are very compressed horizontally so that you can not see what is in them or what you have typed in both of my browsers. In thunderbird I cannot see where the Email comes from and have to go line by line to make that discovery by reading the email and my favorites menu will show all the stored sites but just show stars and not where the sites lead I have to go site by site to find the ones I am looking for. Does anyone have a solution to these problems! Thank you

can u add screenshots? – geoh Jul 28 '12 at 16:06
Won't let me put a screenshot in but as I said I am using 12.04 and the most current of Opera and Firefox and well as Thunderbird. All the shows up in Favorites menu is the Star with no words same thing with right click menus. In E-Mail I get no addresses in the from to area but emails can be check by going line to line and looking in them. Address and search lines on top are vertically compressed and cannot be read, last but not least when I type a line in them I have to tab out of the line to see any writing. – J.
