Yesterday I downloaded from the website the ISO image Ubuntu 12.04 x32, and then boot it to my laptop (compaq c757la) and it stucks on the logo which is a little man, I waited like 30 mins and nothin happens :/

I would use the Alternate Installation (i.e., the text-based installer). It's useful for fixing some other issues...
