I installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my Acer Aspire laptop. I hadn't wifi so I was looking for an answer on how to install drivers. I installed firmware-b43-installer.

In "Additional Drivers" this message appears:

This driver is activated and currently in use.

So it should be OK. But it isn't.

When I run ifconfig in the terminal, there is no interface for wifi.

When I run iwconfig, it shows that there is no wireless.

I have broadcom BCM4311. Could you help me?
