I have been trying to create my own standalone session and it didn't work, well actually it did work but compiz does not start.
I followed this guide from webupd8.
I did everything it told me yet when I start my session compiz isn't running at all. The windows have no border and docky says it needs compositioning to work properly.
So does anyone know how to make a standalone session in 12.04 using compiz? Please?
