I have a dual boot pc with Windows 7 and ubuntu 12.04.I was tryning to move a video file from ext4 file system to ntfs file system. After moving is done, I could not find the file either on Ubuntu partition or Windows partition.Where can i find the file

The file is where you left it. We can't help you because you aren't saying anything about what you did. How exactly did you move the file? What was it called? Where did you look for it? – Gilles Jul 23 '12 at 19:12
I cut the file and paste it into windows partition with dolphin file manager.I searched for the file in windows partition from Ubuntu.I could not find the file.Then I boot into windows .There also,I could not find it. – RameshKatkam Jul 23 '12 at 19:31
