Possible Duplicate:
Shared folders for all users
Truly share a folder with multiple users on a computer

I have partition with mount point /data. I want to enable all users on my computer to be able to make their own files and folder and to have full access (read and write) to files and folder that I have created. I enabled sharing (samba, right click>sharing options) of this folder/partition (/data),and permissions for that folder are set to Create And Delete Files for Others. But if I make folder called Movies (/data/Movies) it's permission for others are set to Access Files, but I want it to be set to Create and Delete Files. This is and example of what I want: If I copy a movie to Movies called Sample Movie with it's own subdirectory (/data/Movies/Sample Movie/Sample_Movie.avi):

I want: my other users to be able to make/modify/copy subtitles in this folder and watch or rename movie.

I don't want: Every time I make subdirectory to change it's permissions.

I know that it's possible with /data being NTFS, but (unfortunately) it's Ext4. Can anyone prove me that the "unfortunately" is unnecessary in the previous sentence. I think it's a simple feature that I expect from an Operating and File System.

possible duplicate of Truly share a folder with multiple users on a computer this is for bindfs. Or Shared folders for all users for a solution with acl. – Takkat Jul 22 '12 at 18:02
