When i insert a CD or DVD into my disk drive, the computer recognizes the disk, and i can access the information on it, but when i try to burn a DVD, the software doesn't seem to recognize a disk. can anyone tell me what's going on here?

Why not try to use leawo dvd creator or Xilisoft dvd burner to help you. Personally I prefer leawo dvd burner, faster and safer. It works well on my computer. I have use the program to burn the hanna video to dvd easliy. Hope it can help you. If you also have some problem, you can contract me.
