This seems to be unrelated to Ubuntu and so is off topic. You may have overwritten some of the Windows boot files when trying to install Grub to the Windows partition. Please seek advice on how to restore those files at a Windows help and support forum. – mikewhatever Jul 20 '12 at 0:54
@mikewhatever This may be related to Ubuntu, but I think a community that knows how to troubleshoot and fix Windows problems would be so much better for this that it is reasonable for us to close it. I'd suggest Super User. – Eliah Kagan Feb 18 at 17:49

When I get all the way through the process it tells me my boot sector is bad. I now get the url....... paste.ubuntu.com/1103361 – hatsoncats48 Jul 21 '12 at 13:00
It seems to give me a different url almost every time. Now its //paste.ubuntu.com/1103372/ – hatsoncats48 Jul 21 '12 at 13:12
The URL is different each time, it is normal. As your sector backup is bad, you will need to use a Windows Recovery disk (from there, type bootrec /FixBoot) – LovinBuntu Jul 21 '12 at 23:55
