In gedit when I try to select a long part of text with dragging the pointer to the edge of the window it scrolls too fast to comfortably control it. Is it possible to make it slower? Should I create a bug?

I don't know how one would do this, but this would be a GTK/GNOME configuration, not gedit – MiJyn Jul 19 '12 at 2:33
