Don't know why Eclipse is so demanding on my Pc. I am developing Php so I don't even need to compile my code locally. Any guess on how I can optimize this?

post the content of your eclipse.ini file. Anyway Eclipse is a Java program, it's heavy almost by definition. – user827992 Jul 16 '12 at 10:56
