I am not sure the reason why Ubuntu crashed. Even recovery mode does not work. GNU GRUB version 1.99~rc1-13ubuntu3 I get Ubuntu 2.6.38-12 and recovery mode too. But nothing works. I am not able to do anything.

I live in Irvine.

If someone could help me out plsss..

Thanks

Welcome to AskUbuntu. Please add hardware specs to the question. Please also add a more detailed description of what happens. "Ubuntu crashed" is vary vague indeed. – mikewhatever Jul 15 '12 at 23:20

Thank you for contacting Ubuntu Emergency Services. Unfortunately, we cannot provide in-home services at this time. To rescue your Ubuntu remotely, please provide us with more information such as what you did before it "crashed", what happens when you boot (take photos if necessary) and all errors--exactly as shown. If you find this difficult, or if you urgently need your computer working, please look at the Orange County Craigslist ads for an Ubuntu/Linux technician who may be able to help you for a nominal fee. – izx Jul 15 '12 at 23:46
