I signed up for Ubuntu One on my old computer where I had Ubuntu 11.10 installed. I backed-up certain key data files to Ubuntu One daily. I abandoned that computer to my grandson when I got a new computer on which I installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I thought that I needed to set up a new account, so I signed in as a new user and selected a new password. Ubuntu One recognized that I was already signed-up with the same email address. However, I can't sign on to Ubuntu One now, no matter whether I use my old or new Ubuntu One password or the password that I use to log-in to my computer. I get the following message:

The password you use to log in to your computer no longer matches that of your login keyring.

I'd like to back out and start all over. How do I do this?

TIA Kelly

Is there an entry for your login password in Passwords and Keys? – Mitch Jul 15 '12 at 8:05
