I was trying to install VMware Player on Ubuntu 12.xx, when the installation is almost complete it throws up a prompt saying that certain files needs to compiled. During the compilation, it throws up the following error.

Unable to start services.

See log file /tmp/vmware-root/modconfig-15802.log for details.
