I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 with Brother MFC-5890CN (network connection). I've installed the printer driver following the instructions on brother website. A4 paper is printing fine, but when I tried to print on the A3 paper, the printer always print as the A4 size on A3 paper as long as the top margin of the page is about minus half page (top half page disappeared). I have tried other software and the results are all the same.

Did You change print page setup? By default it is Letter you can change it to A3 to print. Or did your document write in A3 page? Please let me know...what are you trying to print from which program? – Kaktarua Jul 14 '12 at 21:28
