Just as of recently I have been having issues with Ubuntu LTS 12.04. I have run a home recursive clamscan on the OS and does not pick any issues up but for some reason what happens is the web browser sometimes stalls and upon booting Ubuntu my keyboard does not register.

Also Ubuntu takes a long time to load and when it does e load I see a static like screen for maybe 2 seconds and then loads. I think there might be a issue with my OS but security auditor and clamscan does not pick anything up.

Could you please tell me what to do. The only thing I can think of is that I am tethering my cell phone which uses a 3g network to my laptop but signal is high. I do note that sometimes it a little slow but normally ok and should not affect the OS.

It is a good custom to (1) search for similar problems (e.g., keyboard does not register) and (2) provide more technical information with these kinds of problems (e.g., dmesg / syslog log, and specs/model of your machine). – dnferro Jul 13 '12 at 16:16
