I'm using ubuntu 12.04 with chromiun and firefox 13.01. I tried open sites like http://pop25konquest.blogspot.com.br/ or http://veleiroranchoalegre.blogspot.com.br/ and these sites do not show the images only text. Well I was searching and trying everything... and don't solve this problem. About google maps, doens't work too. Please someone can help me?

It's not the answer, but I can confirm that these sites display fine on my 12.04 machine with chrome and firefox. Are you using a firewall or proxy? – SeanO Jul 11 '12 at 0:39
