Hi I have had a problem lately with 12.04 where my display will not output 1080p infact there is not even an option for it in nvidia-setting.

I can set the resolution to 1080 but no matter how I set it up it displays at 1080i.

I know my display and gpu are capable of 1080p (both xbox and wiundows have no problem)

Is anyone else having the same problem or have you found a fix let me know even a small workaround would do so I can watch my blu-rays.

Thanks in advance
