I'm trying to install Ubuntu on a PC with no OS. I have a Mac and tried burning the disk and my Mac did not like the disk. I would like to do that or create a USB boot instead.

If you are not able to find another computer to set up your USB drive, you can always order an Ubuntu 12.04 DVD from the Canonical Store:
