I recently installed ubuntu in my laptop so pretty new to this system. On my other laptop that has windows 7..I was able to use that laptop to connect to my xbox 360 live using the network bridge. How do I do that with this laptop that has ubuntu?

I don't get what you are exactly trying to do. Do you want to connect your xbox to the internet through your laptop? – André Stannek Jul 5 '12 at 9:21

What I did was i went to the top right corner, where the network is located, i clicked on that and went down to "Edit Connections". Click on that, then go to the wired connections tab and find "Auto eth0" on there. Click on that and hit the "Edit" button. Once you have entered there go to the "IPv4 Settings" tab and in the "Method" section change that to "shared to other computer". turn on the Xbox after that, and see if that worked.

P.S if it didn't work go on youtube and search there thats where i found out how to do it. Hope it helped :D

I recommend editing your question to include a link citing the YouTube video. – Eliah Kagan Jul 26 '12 at 17:10
