I recently replaced my CD/DVD drive with a hard drive using a hard drive caddy. The drive is recognized in the partition manager and I'm able to format it. However, it does not automount. When I mount it the drive is see a a CDROM drive. I'm unable to write to it. I want to be able to use it as spare storage. How can I do that? My linux knowledge is limited so any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
