I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.2.0-23-generic x86_64) and when i do the reboot, its stuck up at the reboot. The system shutdown properly but when it tries to boot it hangs in between. If I do hard reboot again, it works fine.

Which logs should I check for this behavior and how this could be avoided.
