As it is the question is unanswerable. Please include more information on your networking hardware and possible error massages as why Ubuntu didn't recognize it. – con-f-use Aug 21 '12 at 17:08

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.

Connect to internet using some other method like weird connection.

Press Alt+F2

type gksudo jockey-gtk and press enter.

Now it will search for the closed source drivers required by your system. You can activate the drivers from there.

If it doen't list any wireless driver please open a terminal and run lspci -vvv and post the result by editing your question.
