I've tried installing Ubuntu to my USB drive with Universal USB Installer, but every time I boot up my computer, then select to boot from the USB drive, it says operating system some idk XD its there for about 2 seconds then gone. What should I do?

In addition to clarifying your question as Aaron has requested (you can edit your question to make it clearer), please also let us know if you have tried MD5 testing the installation .iso that you wrote to the USB flash drive. If you have not done that, please do that. – Eliah Kagan Jun 25 '12 at 11:18
