I am having intermittent booting problems with Ubuntu 12.04. I have set up a thread on the Ubuntu forums dictating what I've done so far.
Could anyone please offer some support? I'm tearing my hair out, I just want to get some work done.
Here is my thread so far. If I could at least take care of the boot issues, I feel like I could move forward with fixing some things on my own? The problem is, I don't even know how to diagnose this. Much of the time, it's a purple screen or blank screen with a blinking cursor. I've googled the crap out of this and I can't find anything that helps, thats why I started fresh.
