I have a netbook I also use with Ubuntu 11.10 on it. Suddenly the keyboard has stopped working most of the time (mouse ok). I can use a USB external keyboard right from the start but no keyboard on the netbook. (cant even select F2 etc) I have downloaded the latest Bios as it sound like that, but even if I wanted to I cant use it as I have to press FN+Esc and the keyboard doesnt work and just to complicate life the external usb keyboard doesnt have an FN key anyway. Any ideas please Thanks
