I'm pretty new to Ubuntu, but I previously had Ubuntu 11.10 on my Dell Inspiron 1545. After recently performing a system upgrade to version 12.04, I have been having trouble with my wireless connection. I have been googling my specific problems looking for an answer and have tried some things. Here are some outputs I've seen can be relevant:

A connection is made, but when I open firefox the display page that says "Server Not Found" usually appears. Sometimes after connecting the browser will work properly for about a minute and then trying to view new web pages just gives me the "Server Not Found" display. Thanks for answering and any help you may be able to provide me.

what kind of wireless connection issues? slowdown, disconnecting, not connecting? – mateo_salta Jun 18 '12 at 23:21
Are you using the proprietary Broadcom driver? If not, I suggest you try installing it and seeing if it makes things better. On my laptop, the free driver is very flaky but the proprietary one works well. – roadmr Jun 19 '12 at 18:18
Yes,I went to System Settings --> Additional Drivers and it says my Broadcom STA wireless driver is already activated and its "License" is listed as "Proprietary." – LarrySellers Jun 19 '12 at 21:33
