I'm trying to install Ubuntu 12.04 x64 in a new PC. I start the computer with the CD in the optical unit, it boots and i can see the Ubuntu Start Screen (the purple one) but when I select install Ubuntu, run Ubuntu from the disk, or any other thing the screen goes snowy then "no signal" on screen at it goes black. The video connector is DVI and the graphic card is Diamond. AMD 64 bits. I have to turn off the computer then reboot and when it gets to the gigabyte mb screen press the DVD open button to retrieve the disk.
Can anyboday help me with this? Thank you in advance.
