I just click "update" on my Dell Inspirion N7110 Laptop running Ubuntu 12.04.

Everything worked fine with Unity before but now it doesn't : When i try to switch the screens (CTRL+ALT + LEFT/RIGHT/UP/DOWN) it doesn't work like before, all animations are gone, looks like Unity switched to 2D or there's some problem with compiz ? I'm stuck and don't know where to change config files.

Is there some way i can bring the acceleration and unity back to the moment from before the update or reset it?

UPDATE: I tried to use Hardware Accelerated Graphic :the problem most probably is because GL stopped working completely : so the question should be: how to enable 3D Acceleration back
