I'm trying to make the open source radeon drivers downclock my graphics card (radeon hd 6970) so that the fans aren't on all the time, but so far I have had no success.
Currently I have tried setting the power profile to low, and setting the power method to dynpm, both of which have done nothing.
Help is appreciated.
