So... I have an Alienware M17X R4 and I've just installed Ubuntu. My main doubt is about the current graphic card I'm using. When I go to Additional Drivers, I see that there is no driver activated for my dedicated graphic card, which is AMD Radeon HD 7970. Does it mean that I'm using my integrated graphic card? Because I don't want to use my dedicated graphic card for Ubuntu, I want use my Intel Graphics HD 4000. Is there anyway for me to check which graphic card I'm currently using?

You may want to add this information to your original answer (and delete this answer) rather than maintaining multiple answers of your own to the same question. (Your original answer often works so you shouldn't delete its contents...you could just add another section to it.) – Eliah Kagan Jun 12 '12 at 18:37
