I have a Toshiba Satellite A205 S5816. I Cannot for the life of me get the wifi to work. It worked fine when I had Windows Vista installed.

Here is the output of lspci. I don't think it recognizes any of the drivers I've tried to install.

You are missing something like that: Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02) Check wireless status in Windows. Maybe some tool is disabled the wireless and now it is not listed in PCI devices. –  user65404 Jun 11 '12 at 7:03

Does your wireless starts when you use the hardware switch or is it stuck? –  cipricus Jun 12 '12 at 11:50
