Does the “Sync Locally?” option in Ubuntu One, mean that it just uploads to the server?

Does Ubuntu One's "sync locally" checkbox, visible on the Folders tab, actually relate to syncing on the client computer without internet access, that is, from one disk location on the client computer to another disk location on the same computer?

It looks like one guys opinion. Is there any documentation on the purpose of the Sync Locally ? Checkbox? – broiyan Jun 11 '12 at 8:35
@ Broiyan -But it is not JUST an Opinion , a fact. Let's say Ubuntu One is a service like Dropbox, if you know about Dropbox, Ubuntu one is its Alternate & More Integrable for Ubuntu system. – tijybba Jun 11 '12 at 9:27
