Like the title says, I can't assign keyboard shortcuts in myPaint 1.0. I have tired to have my mouse pointer on the menu entry that I want to assign the shortcut and I have pressed the key on the keyboard, but nothing happened. Is this a bug in the program that is already have been passed on the developers or is there a way to get this to work?

Thank you in advance.

For me it works. Can you use the preconfigured shortcuts? Do you try to use unique shortcuts - or are they used by your system already (like Super+W)? Try to delete ~/.mypaint/accelmap.conf and then restart mypaint - is it possible now? – Jakob Jun 6 '12 at 20:05
They are more like the ones that myPaint uses. And I have tried deleting the file, but the problem is still there. – Barsook Jun 6 '12 at 20:32
Look around and learn about 12.04 and keyboard shortcuts. Seems they're getting sequestered by the system against all others' wishes. I use Autoket-Qt and previously mapped Super+t to a text entry macro for thanking people in email for writing. Now it does that then opens the recycle bin. :P – Chris K Jun 7 '12 at 1:15
