That is, Ubuntu 12.04 64 bits crashing when I play Savage, Savage2 or stunt-rally.

I have nvidia 9800 GT as graphic card, with the latest (current) driver installed from jockey.

The crash sometimes doesn't let me to use raw keyboard mode and I can't even do a REISUB.

Any idea?

You should report this as a bug. This is probably a bug in your video card drivers, so you can report it against your video card driver package. (It might alternatively be a kernel bug. It is unlikely to be, or be only, a bug in the games, not just because it happens in multiple games--perhaps they use some of the same libraries or other code--but because it is such a low-level freeze.) If /var/log/dmesg.log is not included automatically in your bug report on Launchpad, you should make sure to attach it. – Eliah Kagan Jun 2 '12 at 19:58
Could manual nvidia driver installation fix this? – lilezek Jun 2 '12 at 23:17
Potentially, yes. I recommend trying that. If you find it does, that would be useful information to add to your bug report. But, assuming you're willing to report this as a bug, I recommend doing it before changing your video card drivers, because ubuntu-bug (explained here) will send information about the system's current drivers and configuration automatically when starting the bug report, and you want that information to correspond to the system that actually suffers from the bug. – Eliah Kagan Jun 3 '12 at 0:23
