I'm experiencing a problem. When i install the OS and try to boot into it i get a red flashing screen. Although it works just fine if i launch the live DVD!
I used the same DVD to install it on my HP 4520s and it's working flawless, should maybe mention that it's the 64bit version.
So, I'm thinking, graphics card problems or something but I'm used to Windows so i have no clue what to do since i got little experience with boot problems in Linux. I know that you are tired of all the dumb windows boys but I'm stuck so please! Also the BIOS is some kind of EFI/BIOS from Asus, i don't know the name of the motherboard and the box is not at my dads house which i will not visit in, i don't know, weeks maybe :P There is two boot options for each device in this EFI stuff and if i choose the EFI thing it fails to run the live cd. After i installed i also tried to run to SSD in BIOS mode instead of EFI mode (if that's what it's called).
