I am having difficulties with wireless on my machine.

The wireless card is a broadcom 2200 BG card. I know there was a bug in the firmware, but I thought that was sorted and now in the kernel. I'm running Oneiric 11.10.

I was using a wep 64bit router - and getting a temperamental connection. One minute it would connect, the next it would disconnect and ask for my password. This happened repeatedly.

I've switched router to WPA and now it refuses to connect - the wireless icon in the task bar flashes, like it is trying to establish a connection and I continually get asked for my password, but never get a connection. Also, curiously, the network is showing up twice in the manager - once with full signal and once with none. (the router is sat right beside the machine, so I don't know whats going on there)
