I believe I can help you, but I just have to clarify. So you began the upgrade from 11.10 --> 12.04 but half way through you accidentally shut it off? And now Ubuntu wont boot? – Adam Martinez May 24 '12 at 11:36
Can you boot in safe mode (grub option)? – jasmines May 24 '12 at 11:38
Adam, exactly. i cant boot the machine now, and im not try to boot in safe mode because this hapend seconds after go to work. im try to find solutions for use when im wo back home in the afternoon. (Im sorry if i was not so clear when im wrote, my english sucks) – Nalya May 24 '12 at 12:07
If you simply powered off your computer while it was in the process of writing to the hard drive, you may have corrupted the file system on the hard drive. Possibly this could repaired by booting your install USB, selecting Try Ubuntu, and running fsck. But you also might make things worse doing that. Simply switching off the power while a machine is installing is a very bad thing to do. – irrational John May 24 '12 at 22:02
