I was using gnome classic and was working fine. I changed to xbmc and rebooted. Ever since I get a blank screen and am not having any luck to switch back to gnome classic either.

find /etc/gdm/custom.conf and change in [deamon] section the following: DefaultSession=xbmc to: DefaultSession=gnome-classic |
