I've been toying around with the lens example posted here, however, it completely fails to load the icon image, all I see are black backgrounds with an svg document on them.

  • It's not a network problem, I can view the images fine, and the lenses work perfectly, pulling content from the network, so it must be internal to unity, something I'm completely new to.
  • When I log-in everything is working perfectly (external thumbnails loading), however, as soon as I run sudo quickly install, all external images begin to fail.

How do I fix this for my lens, how can I debug the interactions that are going on?

This is happening for other lenses that request external items (e.g., the unity-lens-wikipedia, films lens)
